MBIA Member Centers
MBIA Member Centers include incubators, accelerators, coworking spaces and innovation places, which provide the resources that start-up and all stages of companies need to grow. These resources include, but are not limited to: management guidance, technical assistance, consulting, flexible space, shared basic business services and equipment, virtual memberships, technology support services, and assistance in obtaining financing. The MBIA network provides its member companies with access to state-of-the-art equipment and facilities coupled with educational programming. These vital spaces can be found in both urban and rural communities throughout the state of Maryland.
These business innovation models continue to evolve in response to the needs of the entrepreneurial community and the demands of the market place and are based on international best practices. Within the MBIA network, you can find member models that foster engineering and technology companies and offer traditional office space - as well as those that support life sciences companies and offer wet lab space.
You can also find coworking and accelerator models within the MBIA network that enable software, digital media, web and mobile app development, as well as, maker spaces and tech-enabled light manufacturing. Whether you are in cleantech, medtech, biotech, agritech, aquatech, envirotech, mobile app development, cyber security or digital manufacturing, there is a Maryland based member location designed to meet your needs.
MBIA membership provides qualified centers access to TEDCO’s Business Assistance Grant Program. This TEDCO funding enables qualified members to enhance their service offerings to their member companies. Examples of qualified uses of the grant funds include; the help of outside business consultants, entrepreneurial training, legal services, and strategic planning with investors.
