Bob is the Incubator Manager of Bethesda Green, a nonprofit sustainability organization, where he provides managerial oversight and business support services to private sector companies and nonprofits that bring sustainable products and services to market.  Bob has 25 years of experience in economic development in Montgomery County DED, Maryland DBED, Suburban Maryland Tech Council and as a consultant– supporting entrepreneurship, higher education and workforce development — with a focus on environmental, high tech and biotech industry sectors.  He has been actively involved in the development of technology business incubators including feasibility studies and business plans for three successful incubators in Howard, Frederick and Montgomery counties.  He is currently serving as President of the Maryland Business Incubation Association.

Deborah Tillett, Vice President

Ms. Tillett is responsible for management and oversight of the City of Baltimore’s Technology and innovation center.  In that role, she provides the guidance, leadership and resources necessary for entrepreneurs to start, grow and succeed with their businesses. Tillett received a B.S. degree from Towson University in 1976 and a M.B.A. from Loyola Sellinger School in 2000. Ms. Tillett is currently on the Advisory Board for Morgan University’s EDAC, MICA University’s B/Can project, Advisory Board for Innovation Village and Keswick Community Health, as well as the Emeritus Chair, Board of Advisors for the College of Business and Economics at Towson University. Ms. Tillett was named the 2004, 2012 and 2016 Innovator of the Year by The Daily Record, received the 2005 and 2016 Brava Award, Smart Woman Magazine and was a 2006 Dean’s Recognition Award Distinguished Alumni, Towson University and was inducted into the Towson University Chapter of the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society. Deborah was also named one of the 100 Most Influential Women in Computer Gaming in 2006. And most recently was named Daily Records’ 2017 Maryland Influencers.

Jennifer Reynolds, Treasurer

Dr. Reynolds serves as Director of Venture Creation at bwtech@UMBC Research & Technology Park, overseeing the Park’s incubation/acceleration and entrepreneurial programming in life sciences, cyber security and clean technology. She leads the Northrop Grumman Cync program and co-directs the new iCyberCenter@bwtech international cybersecurity training and incubation program, as well as manages the Entrepreneur-in-Residence program, incubator advisory boards, partner relations and programming/workshop content. Overall, Dr. Reynolds has almost twenty-five years of entrepreneurial, technical and business experience in the technology, biotechnology and forensic sectors, with extensive expertise in start-up and corporate operations, strategic and financial planning, and government grants/contracts, among many other areas.  Dr. Reynolds has a B.S. degree in Biology from Virginia Tech, a PhD in Human Genetics from the Medical College of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University, and an Executive MBA degree from the Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland College Park.

Mike Thielke, Secretary

Mike is the executive director for Eastern Shore Entrepreneurship Center (ESEC), a private-sector, non-profit organization having a mission to advance and develop the startup and entrepreneurial ecosystem throughout the eight counties of Maryland’s Eastern Shore. In this position, Mike plays a leadership role in ensuring that the Eastern Shore is connected to the rest of the Maryland statewide ecosystem of entrepreneurs, mentors, coaches, and investors. Mike has been instrumental in starting a network of coworking spaces, called hotDesks, which now has four locations throughout the region. These spaces serve as the backbone for the delivery of accelerator programs, business competitions, and numerous programs and events targeted to creating a stronger and better connected ecosystem. Mike is also part of a group kicking off the PinOak Capital investor group which is a result of the increased deal flow opportunities developing on the Eastern Shore.
